Level 1

It is now level one it has been about 4 or 5 months sens we have been back to school and sens most shops have been open and,some  thing have been back  to normal.how i'm feeling sens I have been back to school ? I'm feeling happy because it is better then doing home schooling and because the class can be all together.And we get to be with our friend's. 

RAIN-FOREST LEARNING

Last week in class we did art we did a practice before a real copy. We draw about 6 leaves on a A3 piece of paper and coloured them in with wax crayons also when we used wax crayon's we did some shading we tried our best to do detail then the next day after that we drew a bird any bird we wanted that comes from a  rain-forest it took us 3 days for the whole class  to finish and for it to be on the wall. I drew a colourful Toucan bird on a A4 piece of paper also we used dye for the background of our leaves that we draw.Also we did rain-forest research it is when we research about the rain-forest and then we wound put the research that we did into our own word and then put them into a  slide, doc's or a poster piece of paper and have lot's of fact's and picture's but more information then pictures. Powerful paragraph writing

Powerful paragraph writing is a simple paragraph but you need more describing words,metaphor's,simile's,punctuation,personification. You get a pitcher of something and start writing about the pitcher we do powerful paragraph writing in the morning before we do our contract.

What is a simile and a metaphor: A simile is comparison of one thing with anther kind of thing.Here's an example.The grass is as green as mint leaves on the damp tree's.A metaphor is some think that says one thing is the same as something else.Here's an example.The bark is like tasty chocolate muffin's.

What is personification:personification is a act of giving human traits,qualities, or actions to objects,concepts, or animals.

One day i was in the peaceful forest waking  down  the path on the grass,the grass is as green as the mint leaves on the damp tree's. This week in kakapo class we did art work because it is samosa language week and you need A3 paper and scissors.fold the paper into a triangle  and then cut the rectangle that is on the edge and then unfold the triangle then it wound be a square then you fold the square in half and then in half again so then if can be a little square then fold in half again and then it wound be a even littler square then you make a flower shape and  design it.

CONFESSION POEM

Last week in kakapo class we wrote a poem that Williams Carlos Williams wrote but we took out  same of his words out and put own on words in. The poem is about confession and confession is admitting something so the class admitted something they did and I admitted taking lollies from my brother. I learnt how to rite a good poem and I learnt the understanding of confession.I enjoyed writing the poem because it had a lot of amazing words that I could put in.It was a fun activity I enjoyed it. And the challenging thing was that I had to make sure it makes sense and I had to change a few thing so it made sense and the most of all challenge was to get things in the right place.

This week we did a study about a Christmas movie and first we watch it and the name of movie is  Klaus. We got given a contract that had 12 different things for as to do on the contract. My favourite thing to do on the contract is 5 things to fill up there bucket of kind things about them and we wrote the 5 things in our contract book. And I enjoyed it because I have never done this contact activities before.

Roll-A-Picasso

We have been learning about Picasso and we created some art that is called Roll-A Picasso.

my holidays.

Mrs Cutler told us to think about the things we done on the school holidays one Amazing/one scary and one relaxing and ask us to do a blog post about our school holidays.

  

Amazing:i went to Dargaville to see my family and when I seen them i was excited because I haven't seen them in a wiel.

Scary:I drop my phone on the concrete

Relaxing:I got to sleep in and i got to relax it was fun.

Narrative.

my pet robot usually listened to my commands. But today he seemed like he had a mind of its own...My pet robot is 10 years old I bought him on 2009 7th of August. And i have had him for 10 years he is blue,black,white and one day.I thought it was because i got a new pet cat from the pet shop down town for my robot to play with. But the robot got jealous of the cat because the robot was my pet first because i thought that it was gona\ be a surprise for the robot but the robot just keep being mean to the cat so one day. I had to give the cat away to a person name Rehua she had no pets at all. And the next day the robot Finley listen to my commands so i said i tried to surprise you but it did'n't work out so the robot said i did'n't know i thought you did'n't wot me. so we went out for the day and talked about it and then it was happely ever after.

Fair and Equal

Mahi Tahi

Mahi Tahi is where Tui Te Kahu and Kakapo all get together and get in groups and then the teachers tell us what the instructions are and they give us the stuff that we need. Mahi tahi that we did this morning was a food test challenge and the instructions were two of the people that are in your group had a blind fold on and the teachers came around to give us the food and one of the persons gets to test the food and one gets to guess what the food is and the person that is testing describes what the food is to the person that is guessing and the person that is guessing when they finish  guessing they take there  blind fold off and write it on a paper and then you swap with the next person and keep going.

Wellington has water parks and their water parks look really cool to have a swim in summer.

You can go to a places that have native birds,trees and plants.Also you can  go to a place that is called Wellingtons cable car and that is why i want to go to Wellington so much so one day i would like to go to Wellington one day.

What an information report is...

An information report is about anything. It can be about a Country. My class wrote a Country's name on our own paper and the teacher told us to crunch it up and throw it up in the air and get someone's that was not ours and then what ever we got we went off and researched about it. Also an information report gives factual information about a certain topic or theme.  

$200 note

I choose Jean Batten on my $200 note because i like the way she flew planes and she crashed a few times and that is why i put her on my $200 note. I put the tui on my $200 note because the tui is one of my favorite birds and i put the yellow for my background all of the other ones were other colors and that is why my background is yellow. I put a plane for my landmark because she flew planes.
